Valentine’s Day is celebrated at the Sunday School building on whichever Sunday falls before Valentine’s Day. There are decorations and the kids have a usually do a craft. This particular celebration is a bit hurried because our local Grange, which is just down the road, serves its annual Sweetheart Breakfast on that same Sunday. The breakfast starts before church and continues on until late morning. The Sweetheart breakfast is a free-will offering.

The money earned at the Breakfast is used to update, and take care of, a room at the Ronald McDonald House. The Ronald McDonald House provides rooms  where families can stay when they have a seriously ill child in the hospital.

What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than to support such a loving and helpful facility?
