We use text messages to keep our congregation informed about weekly worship, special events, and emergency weather alerts.

How to Sign Up:

  • Verbally: Ask our Pastor or Technical Staff to be added to the list.

What to Expect (Note: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes):

  • Frequency: You will receive approximately 4 messages per month.
  • Cost: Message and data rates may apply.
  • Opt-Out: Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe.
  • Help: Reply HELP for technical assistance.

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive messages, you consent to receive church announcements, worship reminders, and emergency notifications from Clarkes UMC.

  • Opt-In: You may opt-in via our website, text-to-join keywords, or by giving verbal/written consent to church leadership.
  • Opt-Out: You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP” to our number. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed.
  • Help: If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, you can reply with the keyword “HELP” for more assistance.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
