United Women in Faith
The “Purpose” of United Women in Faith (formerly United Methodist Women) is defined as a community of women desiring to know God as they develop a creative, supportive fellowship and participate in Global Ministries of the church.
We invite you to our meetings which are held on the second Wednesday from September through May at 9:30 a.m. in the Sunday School Building. Each month our meetings are opened in prayer, the reading of the purpose is read. We review our Prayer Request List, send cards and discuss Mission Moments as we seek to become aware of the needs around us. We have an active e-mail group for prayer requests as needs arise and a prayer shawl ministry. We donate money, which we earn each year through an annual rummage sale, to community organizations; especially those that support women and children in need.
Our meetings are filled with prayers, new ideas in reaching out to others, special moments and loving friendship. We would love to have you join us!
